This week I started work on a new Virtual Garment - further detailing my flow of Realtime applications in UnrealEngine. I started off with blocking out a composition in Photoshop, which will help guide the 3D design process. In this early study I used Nike and Demobaza garments as a basis of inspiration towards forming my own vision.
In Marvelous Designer I then start making the digital patterns based on the previous sketch - simulating and testing physics of different fabrics. Before adding details here, I use Photoshop again to sketch and test their look & feel first.
This flow is a basis for any fashion item you would like to use in Virtual- or Augmented environments or realtime applications.
