As many as 73 were killed in multiple attacks in Pakistan’s Balochistan on August 26, reported Reuters. The BLA on Aug 26 claimed full responsibility for the attack, releasing an official circular after the completion of 'Ops Herof'. Visuals that emerged from moments of attacks show chaos as people run for their lives. The separatist militants attacked police stations, railway lines and highways; As many as 35 vehicles were set on fire on the highway. The attacks came shortly after the Balochistan Liberation Army warned people to stay away from highways in the province. As per the Pakistan military, 14 soldiers and police officers were also killed during retaliation. Pak Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, called the attacks " intolerable" and vowed to give them a ‘good response very soon’.
