During the 7. Itiner.hu Esztergom Rallye, Petra Perlaky’s 66 Peugeot 106 XSI, would suffer mechanical failure and leave the road flipping on its side straight into a tree roof first, the roof of the car was badly damaged and both Driver and co-driver would be transferred to the hospital where Petra Perlaky, would pass away 13 days later from head injuries, her driver Péter Perlaky would suffer serious injuries as well, but survived.
