The smallest 3CCD VHS camcorder - Panasonic AG-3
The 1993 Panasonic AG3 Super VHS camcorder was touted the smallest 3CCD camcorder at the time it was released. With a 5-pin Control-M connector, ample manual controls, stereo audio, widescreen mode and a time base corrector, it was one of the more capable handheld machines of the 1990s.
The 1992 Sony VX1/VX3 is considered the first handheld camcorder outfitted with a 3CCD imager.
