First of all, you need to understand what exactly you need to study. Usually, it’s the programming language itself and the main technology like Spring Framework, Django, or Angular. Plus, a bunch of related things like databases, unit testing, Git, algorithms, and clean code.
If you are a complete newbie, the main challenge will be to learn the language. Your brain has to get used to the syntax, constructions, and so on.
Some recommend picking a specific language because “it’s easy to study.” I say, unless you try to study assembler, you can ace any high-level programming language. It’s better to pick the niche you want to work in and then decide on the programming language.
The whole journey might take 6-18 months on average. It depends on your brain’s abilities. I’ve seen people study everything rapidly without any difficulties, but consistency is the key here. Consistency always wins over talent. 🏆
