In this video, you will be watching FACTS ABOUT THE UNIVERSE | INTERESTING FACTS. Hello and welcome to this video! In this video, we will be discussing five Fascinating Facts about the Universe,
but first please consider subscribing to the channel if you like this kind of content. It would mean a lot to the laboratory! So what exactly is the universe? The universe is everything that exists. It includes planets, moons, stars, galaxies, and all other forms of matter and energy.
The word "universe" was coined by the ancient Greeks from the word "cosmos". The word "cosmos" means orderly or harmonious order.
Fact #1- The Universe is Expanding. This means that galaxies are being pushed away from each other as the Universe grows. The Universe is estimated to be 13.8 billion years old, and it has doubled in size since it was first created.
Fact #2- The Universe is Infinite. There are an infinite number of stars in the night sky, which means that there are an infinite number of galaxies in space that we can see from Earth. If you were to count all of the atoms in a cubic meter of air, you would never reach a final answer because there are always more atoms to be counted. This seems impossible but it is true! There are also an infinite number of dimensions in string theory, which suggests that there could be an infinite number of universes or even multiple universes at once!
Fact #3- There are Billions of Galaxies in the Universe
The universe is so big that it’s hard to imagine. The stars and galaxies are so far away that it takes light years for them to reach the earth.
There are billions of galaxies in the universe, each with billions of stars.
Fact #4- There are Billions of Stars in Each Galaxy
The number of stars in each galaxy is mind-boggling. There are billions of stars in the Milky Way Galaxy alone, and there are billions more galaxies to explore. We know that there are billions of other galaxies in existence, but we have only been able to observe them through telescopes or by looking at their effect on nearby objects like black
Fact #5- There are Billions of Planets in Each Solar System
There are billions of planets in each solar system. We know this because we can see them through telescopes, and they are very small. This is a big problem for scientists because they can't get to these planets.
The first thing that scientists try to do is to find out what the planet's atmosphere is made of, and then they try to figure out what the temperature is like on the planet. They also want to know if there's water or life on the planet, so they look for signs of water vapor in the atmosphere (invisible gases) and for plants or animals (visible things).
Scientists also use instruments that can measure certain features from a distance, like infrared radiation or magnetic fields.
