Schools across Pennsylvania fall victim to "active shooter" swatting call hoax
Pennsylvania State Police say they believe threats made to multiple school districts Wednesday morning are believed to be fake.
The calls prompted police and crews to respond to several schools in the 6 News viewing area, including Bishop Carroll, Altoona Area, Forest Hills and Bellefonte.
All schools in Cambria County were reportedly asked to go on lockdown out of an abundance of caution.
