Rescue operation frees dozens of cats from severe neglect in Windber, officials say
Emergency officials in Somerset County reported that approximately 100 cats had to be removed from a home Wednesday night.
Animal control officers and the Windber Police Department responded to the residence on the 300 block of 21st Street around 6:30 p.m. to carry out the removal.
