SUPER ECLIPSE
okay so what is super eclipse, basically my good friend Millie made a mod called super eclipse for this game, which essentially does 3 things.
the ship never leaves
the day starts at 12am as late as possible
all the spawn cycles have occurred the moment the ship lands
what this does is basically as hard as the vanilla game can get, but you have infinite time to grab everything which changes the play style a fair bit onto strategy rather than optimizing and fast thinking, which is pretty interesting as a result.
Adamance was a scary moon to go for, but in the end it turned out to not be quite as bad as i anticipated, it is definitely the hardest i've done so far, the outside can be quite brutal at the very initial start only, as on the way back when transferring a very safe secluded route can be used to transfer every item from fire exit, otherwise going into the valley would have been a nightmare without killing every last thing beforehand, it takes some time to do it all but it's worth being safer, I had two runs die on the transfer back still due to parkour issue.
The inside is kinda a different story, most runs you get obliterated instantly, since the harder monsters can now spawn more often, more coils, nutcrackers, butlers even sometimes, all a lot harder to deal with, plus maneaters are common and thumpers are almost a guarantee. A lot of mobs and the inside is big with a lot of items to find.
Didn't think I'd get it in 5 hours only though wow, this run here had SUCH a crazy play to get rid of the bracken early on, thats some of my finest performance ever for sure, there was also a coil I dealt with the entire run which was very scary all throughout, luckily no maneater today, other than that spider, thumper, snare fleas etc, didn't get anything more nasty than that though, pretty good.
