SUPER ECLIPSE
okay so what is super eclipse, basically my good friend Millie made a mod called super eclipse for this game, which essentially does 3 things.
the ship never leaves
the day starts at 12am as late as possible
all the spawn cycles have occurred the moment the ship lands
what this does is basically as hard as the vanilla game can get, but you have infinite time to grab everything which changes the play style a fair bit onto strategy rather than optimizing and fast thinking, which is pretty interesting as a result.
WOW tho this went a lot better than expected, rend and tier 3's finally get rid of bees so I don't have to reset for that anymore which is banger, but it introduces the harder enemies that can spawn a lot more often into runs now, there was plenty runs i was avoiding a bracken, coilhead, ghost girl, barber and jester all at once and it was terrifying but very exhilarating, however despite that, this run in particular was just, very lucky lol, i got easy enemies inside, an only clock day and only giants outside which i killed with a safe strategy, the one really clever play was the bracken kill with a spike trap yet again, get outplayed bozo for ruining all my runs.
dine will certainly be harder but i think i'll be able to manage, im quite afraid of titan tho....
already a dent into tier 3's tho im excited.
