My decision to visit a Welsh border town was inspired by Knighton, a historic town nestled in the lush rolling countryside. Situated right at the centre of the English-Welsh border, Knighton is often considered an ideal base for exploring both sides. Although it has been a peaceful market town since 1230, this area has certainly seen its share of turbulence in the past.
