Indian man arrested in Malawi for defiling 5-year-old girl
The Malawian police arrested 57-year-old Indian national Ramsing Narissing Shinde for defiling a five-year-old girl in Limbe, Blantyre. The Limbe Police reported that on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at approximately 7:00 pm, Shinde lured the five year old and her six-year-old sister into his bedroom by offering them some Indian bread called Chapati. Shinde is a neighbor of the two girls. According to the police, Shinde undressed the girls and defiled the five year old in front of her sister. While Shinde was in the act, the two girls’ brother entered the room and witnessed the crime. He immediately informed his parents who reported the incident at the Limbe Police Station. Subsequently, detectives went to the scene of the crime and arrested Shinde. The 5-year-old victim was taken to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital for a physical examination, which revealed that she had been defiled. Shinde will appear in court to face charges.
