CONNECTED SPEECH: Linking and Intrusion Tutorial
In this video we look at two areas of connected speech (linking & intrusion) - and it will only take you 3 minutes to find out exactly how sounds link sounds and words together. It's a British English pronunciation tutorial.
You could say that linking and intrusion are both linked by the /r/ sound. One is where the /r/ exists in the word already and the other is where the /r/ sound magically appears. However, it is not only the /r/ spelling and sounds - there are other sounds in the video too.
