Computer memory - Cache memory, Primary memory, Secondary memory.

The cache memory is the fastest memory that is used to speed up the CPU.

The RAM, ROM are primary storage or internal memory.

RAM holds the data that the CPU is currently working with. RAM is faster memory and volatile memory.

ROM contents can only be read. It mainly holds the instructions required to start-up or boot the computer.
ROM is non-volatile memory.

Secondary storage devices are used for long-term storage of data. These are slower than primary memory.
Secondary storage devices are non-volatile.

Volatile memory is the computer memory that loses its contents when power is turned off.

Non-volatile memory retains its contents even if the power is turned off.

The data flows as secondary storage - Primary memory (RAM) - Cache -CPU.
