Preeclampsia Awareness Week
Out of every 100 mothers , 16 die due to preeclampsia, the leading cause of maternal deaths.
Preeclampsia Awareness Month is recognized in May, and World Preeclampsia Day is commemorated on May 22 annualy. According to conditions, some mothers may often not spot symptoms.
The commemoration of preeclampsia awareness day, week and month is to raise awareness about this severe and dangerous pregnancy complication, and to facilitate its timely detection and management.
