This is a video of some highlights from the Nov. 28, 1965 American Football League game between the Boston Patriots and the Jets in New York, won by the Patriots, 27-23.
The clips are from the Jets' 1965 highlight film.
Dynamic first-year quarterback Joe Namath's 50-yard touchdown pass to Bake Turner staked the Jets to a 10-3 halftime lead. But the Patriots scored the next 17 points, including two TD catches by Jim Colclough shown in the video, the first 8 yards from Eddie Wilson and the next 27 yards from Babe Parilli, to go ahead, 20-10.
New York then posted 13 points in the fourth quarter, including a Matt Snell 5-yard scoring run, also seen in the video, to take a 23-20 lead. But Parilli hit tight end Tony Romeo from 2 yards out for a TD and Gino Cappelletti nailed the PAT as Boston claimed its second win of the season.
A couple of Namath completions round out the action; it's not clear exactly when they occurred.
