Notes: What a physical contest, with people getting wiped out on picks, battles under the boards, and technicals aplenty. This was your grandfather's NBA, and we liked it ... Archibald, my favorite Celtics point guard ever, gets smoked at least four times, but he was tough as nails. He'd get hurt in Game 6 but come back in. Continually sacrificed his body on drives amid the redwoods ... Pretty sure Bird was actually happy to win the $25 Stop & Shop gift card.
