[SOLVED] How to Fix Data Issues on Cricket | Cricket Wireless 4G APN Settings
If you are using Cricket Wireless and need to setup the data or internet settings on it, In this video I'll show you how. You may already have an APN configured on your phone, however if you are experiencing slow data connectivity or not able to send or receive picture messages (MMS), you may also want to take a look, as there are different versions of Cricket APN and depending on the type of data plan / service you have and the location, one may work better than the others, so please double check.
For android phones, you need to first go into the Settings App (you can either slide down the notification bar and tab on the gear like icon, or just go to the apps menu and tab on the Settings APP).
Depending on your android verion, you either will see Connections or More, so TAP on either of those, and then Mobile Network, or tab on More and then Mobile Network. Now you should see Access Point Names, and once there, hit the menu option and select Create or Add new APN
Add these following information:
Name: Internet
APN: ndo
Proxy: Not Required
Port: Not Required
Username: Not Required
Password: Not Required
Server: Not Required
MMSC: http://mmsc.Cricketwireless.net
MMS proxy: proxy.Cricketwireless.net
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 150
APN type: default,mms,supl or internet+mms on some samsung equipments
as an alternative option, if you are having mms issues, please try to change these following fields:
MMSC: http://mmsc.Cricketwireless.net
MMS Proxy: proxy.Cricketwireless.net
