Android not Receiving Text after Switching from iPhone
If you switched to Android and are not getting texts from iPhone, here is the easy fix.
Before you switch from an iPhone iOS to an android or windows phone, there are a few things you should be aware of, one of those is turning off or deactivating the iMessage option on your phone
iPhone uses the iMessage functionality to text between them, so if you have switched from iPhone to android but did not turned off the iMessage feature, apple still thing you have the "iphone" with you and text messages coming out of another iphone to your number will be delivered through iMessage and not the standard txt messaging service
so it's very easy to solve this, just to to Settings, Messages and turn off iMessages. If you no longer have the iPhone with you, head to this website:
https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregiste... fill in your number and confirm the code and you're done. This is normally called the iMessage bug, as it shouldnt happen at all
if this doesnt solve it, then you'll need to check the APN and MMS settigns on the phone, as MMS or picture messages rely on these settings, if they are not configured, then you wont be able to send or receive text messages
