Inside Episode VIII: Robert Hein, Josh Berger, Grant Elder, and Ian Cymore, have worked as a team for many years, collaborating on a host of projects. On this panel, the team will discuss their creative and technical process through sound editorial on Ron Howard’s "Hillbilly Elegy" and Disney’s "Noelle."
In sharing their editorial workflow, they hope to inspire sound editorial teams with different approaches to creatively collaborating for both sound design and dialogue editorial in preparation for any mix. This panel will be moderated by postPerspective's Randi Altman.
Sight, Sound & Story's 2021 event series format is now online. Sight, Sound & Story has delayed its live in-person events (June's Post Summit & November's The Art of Cinematography) until 2022. Until that time the event series will continue live online monthly. This series will feature unique guests and subjects that will vary between editing, cinematography, and all aspects of film-making. Most importantly, these events will be live and free to the public.
