This video shows how Denuvo DRM influenced the performance of Middle-earth: Shadow of War video game.
In this case Denuvo reduces CPU performance by ~5-15%, depending on a certain scene/location. Overall gameplay seems to be a bit smoother without Denuvo, especially if you have a budget or mid range CPU. Moreover Denuvo consumes additional ~1,5-2 GB of RAM. And, finally, loading times are decreased.
Graphics quality is set to "Ultra" in both cases, except shadows, which were set to "Medium". AA and Motion blur are disabled and resolution reduced to 540p to eliminate GPU bottleneck.
