In this video tutorial, I show you how to make a rolling credits text that you can use to give credit to whom ever you want, in the hitfilm 4 express video editor.
I first started by showing you how to make the credits text. I actually used a .png image as the credits; first opening up a image editor such as GIMP, pasting in the text, adding a drop shadow to the text, and exporting the image as a .png, because .png can be transparent.
Next, I showed you the transformations that I applied to the credits image. I used keyframes to set the transitions; like the fade in and out, and the change in position needed for the scrolling. Finally, I showed how to zoom out the background image the credits image overlaid.
