Fun While Social Distancing *Neon Dance Party, T-Rex & Bacon Costumes*
Just because we have a Stay At Home order due to COVID-19, doesn't mean we can't have a little fun. Normally, we like to go to events that give us an excuse to dress up in costumes. Now that we are staying home, we finding other excuses.
On Friday, we walked the dog over to Liv's mom. This was the first time she got to pet the dog since we started our self isolation two weeks ago. But we got dressed up in a T-Rex and bacon costume for the walk.
Just before our lunch break on Friday, we found out Goldfish was doing a live broadcast from their living room. Goldfish is a music duo from Liv's hometown - Cape Town, South Africa. We immediately grabbed some costumes before jumping on the Zoom and FB livestreams to dance our lunch break away!
On Saturday, our FAVORITE band, Itchy-O, released a YouTube stream that was a rebroadcast of one of their 2019 concerts. We arranged to meet with our friends online for a virtual watch party. But, we were also invited to a neon dance party! So we connected to both parties at the same time and went full neon -- with black light and party lights!
What will we find to do this week? Who knows, but we will keep having fun!!
NOTE - We are very lucky to be able to work from home and keep our jobs. We have also been healthy this whole time. We are very thankful to those that are still working through all of this and hope for a speedy recovery to those that are sick.
