You may already know by now that I LOVE being a Pirate! International Talk Like A Pirate Day is September 19th, which also happens to be my birthday! Which is perfect because I've always loved the romanticized, fantastical notion of pirates and, when I became an amputee, I think I truly embraced the concept of being a pirate :)
So, every year around this time, I turn my prosthesis into a peg leg and celebrate in some piratey fashion or another. This year is no different...though it IS different since we have to social distance but we still wanted to celebrate safely and share that with you!
