A one-off, unrepeatable night at the historic venue where Paul Simon, Bob Dylan and Tom Paxton played their first London gigs in the early 1960s.
ABOUT: mentored by Alexis Korner, Raphael Doyle's band Café Society were playing The Troubadour in 1974 when they were discovered by Ray Davies - who went on to produce their first album. Former bandmates Tom Robinson and Hereward Kaye join Raphael for his return to this legendary venue for the first time in four decades as a solo headliner. His forthcoming album Never Closer is being recorded with legendary Irish producer Gerry Diver and indie bandleader Louis Doyle (Slides, The Spare Room) who is Raphael's youngest son. Other special guests include the BBC award-winning folk artist Lisa Knapp, and Irish singer Caitríona Ní Dhúill.
