The famous Trigger is back with some fun facts about his life and career as a guide dog dad!
💛 A 9 year old golden retriever
💛 A total of 39 litters (equalling over 300 pups)
💛 His litters are fondly known as 'Triglets'
💛 His smallest litter was 4 pups
💛 His largest litter was the record breaking 16 with guide dog mum, Unity
💛 Two litters were born abroad, one in France and the other in the Netherlands
💛 One of his litters were TV stars on Channel 5's puppy school for Guide Dogs
💛 Puppy Carol, named after BBC presenter Carol Kirkwood is from one of his litters
To carry on his incredible legacy, nine of his daughters, as well as his half-French son, Pierre, are now helping us to bring forward a new generation of guide dogs by becoming guide dog mums and dads themselves!
