Crashing a 350z at the RSD Season Finale - Did the Janky Z Make it Out Alive?!
So a 350z gets crashed in this one folks, and that's no clickbait... This weekend I went to the finale of ReadySetDrift at Pocono Raceway in PA, and finally got to meet a handful of folks I've been drifting on Assetto Corsa with over the last few months. Out of the 4 of us coming in this weekend, an I300, an SN95 Mustang, and two 350Zs, only 2 of us made it back home without any damage (and one of us had a catastrophic mechanical failure).
Overall, had a blast this weekend, getting to do a ton of tandems, as well as drifting on Pocono Raceway South Course which ranks up there as one of my favorite drift tracks so far. The drift community is seriously amazing and I've meet so many cool people even over the course of the weekend. Crazy that I'm starting to get a bunch of people recognizing me in person from the channel, told one dude it feels like I've worked my way up to Z list celebrity.
Anyway... Big takeaway this weekend is that tandems are the most fun part of drifting.
