Tunisia is the Mediterranean Sea, African landscapes, olive and date groves and good old All-Inclusive. Tunisia is located in northern Africa between Libya and Algeria. They speak here in Arabic, French, and in tourist areas, of course, in English and Russian.
Our goal was to relax on a budget, so we chose a 4 * hotel with All-Inclusive - Marhaba Royal Salem. The hotel is located on the first line in one of the largest resort towns in Tunisia. The voucher itself cost us $ 750 for two for 7 days. The hotel area is large enough and green, there are 4 swimming pools. Entertainment includes tennis, beach volleyball, sauna and hammam, table tennis and billiards.
As for the food, the food here is quite tasty. Of all the restaurants, only the main one is now open, where all meals are held. Street and beach restaurants are now closed and I have a suspicion that this is due to the fact that it is just the beginning of the season and the occupancy of the hotel is up to 40%. Therefore, several times we went out and dined outside the hotel. There are many cafes around and the food is really tasty.
The main difference between Tunisia and Egypt is that here you can leave the hotel and take a walk. At the moment, there are some restrictions in Tunisia. So, for example, you can freely move in the city, but you cannot go to another city on your own. Here you can walk within walking distance or you can take a taxi and get to the sights.
Tunisia certainly might not be a bad budget alternative. Tours here are inexpensive, especially at the beginning and end of the season, and the service is quite decent.
