How to move or nudge an object in Photoshop
Photoshop basic tutorial for digital painters and artists: How to nudge or move a drawing on a layer. This is something very basic, but as a digital artist you will find yourself moving things around on your canvas on their own layers all the time, it can be used to speed up your work flow dramatically. Whilst most people already know how to move an object or drawing in Photoshop, knowing how to 'nudge' that drawing can also be extremely helpful in some situations, where moving the object by hand / mouse results in too large of a movement.
Last of all we take a quick look at holding down the shift key when using the methods mentioned above, to lock your movement to a vertical, horizontal or diagonal movement.
