3 Ways to Share & Host Files on Google Drive
This 14 minute tutorial looks at 3 different ways to share files on Google Drive.
1. Standard sharing built into the Google Drive service and options (2:00)
2. Creating a direct download link to files (4:30)
3. Creating a direct download that avoids the virus scan warning (for use with larger files that can't be scanned) (9:20)
The standard sharing is very nice on Google Drive but it's not so easy to create a clean direct download link. It's nice to be able to avoid any Google branding if you're e.g. adding a download button to your website.
These methods work at time of recording but Google is changing all the time so if you know of a better method or if something fails, please get it touch.
