Roller-skating girl with 'lots of dreams' killed in Gaza strike
"She begged me and said: please Daddy, let me go out" to play says Hussam Abu Ajiwa, the father of ten-year-old Tala with regret as he holds the roller skates she was wearing when she was killed in a Gaza strike.
"I found her among the rubble, and I identified her from her roller skates, the only thing that was visible", he adds.
Her mother, who scrolls through photos and videos of Tala on her phone, remembers the moment when she came to "hug her" to tell her how "scared she was", when the sound of the bombs rang out.
