SKODA KAROQ Production Line - Car Factory
The compact crossover SUV (C-segment) known as the Koda Karoq was developed and produced by the Czech automaker Koda Auto. The car, which succeeded the koda Yeti, was unveiled in 2017 and is built on the MQB platform developed by the Volkswagen Group. The car fits between the Koda Kamiq, which is smaller, and the Koda Kodiaq, which is larger.
The Aleutian language, which is spoken by the natives of the Alaskan island Kodiak, is where the term Karoq originates. The Aleut words "kaa'raq" and "ruq," an automobile, and an arrow—all components of the Koda logo—are combined. After the Kodiaq, it is the second Koda model to have a name derived from the Aleuts.
Both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions of the Karoq are offered. An Off-Road mode with traction control and an electronic differential lock is an option on four-wheel-drive versions, and higher trim levels will come with a Driving Mode Select system with five settings. The suspension of the Karoq consists of a four-link rear axle and a front axle with triangular wishbones created by MacPherson. The 1.5-liter TSI and 2.0-liter TDI engines' Dynamic Chassis Control systems will provide three chassis modes—Comfort, Standard, and Sport—with electrically actuated valves that adapt to the driving environment.
