On today's video, I test out IK Multimedia's Syntronik 2 SORCERER Synth vst plugin program, based on the MOOG SOURCE Synthesizer, famously used by Devo, Jon Lord, Jamiroquai, Depeche Mode, New Order, Front 242, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) and many more! I also give a little history lesson and a lot of info.

The Sorcerer offers the distinctive timbres of the legendary Moog source, two fat analog oscillators through the legendary Moog 24 dB per octave transistor ladder filter. In many ways, the Source was a programmable Minimoog capable of generating massive basses and superior leads.

Syntronik 2 raises the bar for virtual synthesizers. It's a massive update to the previous release, adding 11 new synths for 33 synths in total, exciting new, advanced, and much-requested functionality including the new Edit Panel and Wave Set Browser, and a huge number of all-new presets for the 22 original synths taking advantage of all these new features.
