so this one is a bit long, but needed. optimization is a big part of game development, in the early stages you define your systems and then later you go back and refactor to help boost performance.
this is somewhat that lol..
ideally we would have done it differently from the beginning, but at that point i didn't know any better and unfortunately passed along my bad information to ya'll.
but instead of leaving it as it is, we can go back and fix it! it's not too complicated of a fix, it's just a bit time consuming because of how many things we'll need to go through.
but the results will be significantly better for the long term. we can reduce any performance problems we may have encountered during longer play testings or that the player may have found.
