The Repo Man Demo-Experience on PC

Repo Man is a game which was announced last year by Achara Studios. I got hooked by the announcement trailer, put the game on my wishlist. So I've been surprised to find an available demo in the store.
And this is where I lost interest into this game: I really appreciate developers and studios providing demos. But if you want to show something, the experience itself should at least work and not be prone to bugs and lacking features.
I think the material speaks for itself. In this "try" to play though the demo (which I didn't manage to achieve), I chose the "fight" option with the mugger, rendering the game in a completely broken state where I couldn't even advance to the mansion. The try before I chose the negotiation, which worked but the whole mini game behind it really felt like it wouldn't belong there. I would have expected different dialog options or even a trade, but not a weird card game. However, I then was greeted with a bug that my camera was just frozen at the door in the conversation with the gatekeeper, having me to Alt + F4 out of the game, which is needed because there doesn't seem to be a trigger for the main menu.
In another try in between, I got stuck in the tram moving past the Gardens with a ton of clipping errors until the game crashed.
Understanding that this is a demo, I didn't expect everything to work fully, and I'm aware that the performance may be subject to drops, but seriously, overlaying the read function of the book, the same indicator for pickup and read, the lack of ambient sound, dialogues and music really doesn't make for an immersive experience. And if this is supposed to be a tech demo, I wonder what tech did the developers want to show us? That Unreal Engine can look awesome? We've been knowing that for years already, I'm afraid.
The list of bugs I encountered however is so long, that it makes for a shitty first impression and causing me to lose interest into the game. This should have never been released in this state and shouldn't have passed any QA at all.
