Some situations in life, some (bad) decisions we made will stick with us until we die. Some pain might never go away until certain things have changed or even will hunt us for the rest of our lives. We regret, we bemoan, we cry; yet all of our laments remain unheard. Our solitude and sorrow is making everyday's life a burden. We just long for an end of the suffering, but regardless of what we try, it always comes back when we least expect it.
And when the pain becomes too much to carry, you can either choose to show a last sign of resilience or to give in and become lost in what makes your life miserable. A choice we never really make out of free will. We're victims of ourselves, we cannot bear what we feel, yet we are alone, there is no warmth surrounding us, there is just the endless abyss of suffering and sorrow which slowly infatuates our mind and inhibits us to think clearly.
It's these situations in which all of our happiness is nowhere to be found and even the thought of a past situation in which we were somewhat happy brings tears into our eyes. When memories are just too painful to bear and nothing seems to make sense anymore. We're all bound to make a decision to let this cycle continue or to end it. But whatever decision we are going to make: There will always be consequences, there will always be people who will be affected.
And therefore: Think twice before you hurt others or yourself, once you're beyond a certain point, it's hard to come back to a normal life, to adjust yourself, to trust people and even to love or to seek for it can be a numbing and painful experience.
Take care and farewell my dear friends I lost on the way. There is not a day I wouldn't regret certain things I did, things, which can and will never be undone. And for this, I am so truly sorry. I never meant harm to anyone other than myself.
