What gear do you need for a 100 mile backpacking trip or thru hike? I’ll show you what I’m taking for 100 miles in the Uinta wilderness of Utah. The goal is to be light, but also comfortable, so you’ll notice a few luxury items to help with that. Links to everything in the description below!
Gear: 10.91 lbs (4.9 kgs)
Clothing: 2.16 lbs (978 grams)

Food: 13.8 lbs (6.26 kgs)
Water: Will vary from 2-4.5L (4.41 lbs to 9.9lbs or 2 kgs to 4.5 kgs)
