Oblivion - Mages Guild - Anvil Recommendation
The Anvil Mages Guild Recommendation quest.
Speak with Carahil at the Anvil mages guild to receive the recommendation. If you choose the Battle Mages option in dialog with Carahil she will give you some Frost Protection scrolls which could prove useful.
Travel to the Brina Cross Inn via the road heading north away from Anvil, it will be marked on the map.
Speak with Arielle Jurard and spend the night in the Inn.
A suspicious woman will talk don't tell her anything. She is the one who attacks you on the road.
After spending the night, Arielle will tell you to travel the road until the rogue battlemage attacks you then they will come and help kill her.
After that, go back and speak with Carahil back at the Mages Guild to complete the quest.
