Black-crowned Night Heron struggles with a big fish
Black-crowned Night Heron is a bird which gathers behind my local temple in Bangkok, Wat Phuttabucha, waiting for fish and frogs that people release to "make merit". This Black-crowned Night Heron, Nycticorax nycticorax, caught a fish that it struggled to deal with but as you will see, it found a way and fluffed its feathers with pride at the size of its catch.
