Small Pratincole deception behaviour
Why do Small Pratincoles behave as if they are injured? In this video we will visit their habitat to learn what dangers Small Pratincoles, Glareola lactea, face to gain an insight to their strange behaviour. Small Pratincoles occur in many countries in Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Nepal and Bhutan where their deception behaviour can be seen in the breeding season. Small Pratincole is one of my favourite birds and I am really pleased to be able to share them with other bird lovers in this video.
