This is the new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 earbuds that were launched by OnePlus during their OnePlus 11 smartphone series launch at a price of ₹13,999, though while recording the video I noticed they are also available at ₹11,999.
Package Contents
Within the box, we get some booklets and paperwork, along with the Red Cable Club Card.
The Actual Case which feels like premium and has a Type C Charging Port, LED Notification Light
Then there are the actual earphones, along with ear caps, and finally, a Type-C cable.
Smartphone Pairing
Pairing is super easy, and you can easily pair with your OnePlus phone with a tap.
The app has additional details like the battery percentage of each bud and the option to enable and disable the noise cancellation and transparency modes, followed by a personalised noise cancellation for a clearer sound experience.
Hi- Res Audio Mode & Spatial Audio modes are something actually worth trying out, though this is something you should experience to know more and in the app you can get an idea on how this works.
Controls Customisation
You can also customise the earphone controls by changing the default.
Press once: Pause playback/Answer incoming calls/Hang up calls
Press twice: Next song/reject call
Press triple: Previous song
Long press for 1 second: noise reduction switching
Long press for 3 seconds: Earbuds focus
Battery Life: OnePlus claims up to 39 hours of battery life, though I haven't tested this for a longer time to get the real data, but the numbers are impressive, and it supports Fast Charge, where 10 minutes of charge gives you 10 hours of battery life.
Fit and Comfort: These are perfectly fitting when worn for the first time, and I wore them for a few hours listening to music and answering calls, and there were no issues found.
Sound Quality and Base: The sound quality is actually very good, along with the base, which gave me almost the same experience as the AirPods Pro that I generally use.
Will this work with iOS?
After pairing these with the OnePlus phone, I paired them with my iPhone and noticed that the additional options that we generally get aren't available, but by default, Touch Control works, so that's a good experience overall.
Can I use only one earphone?
The is the way I generally use most of the earphones & hence thought to share the experience. The moment you remove one earphone you would notice the music getting paused and hence with one press you can resume it and enjoy the same.
