The Shokz OpenRun are the flagship bone conduction headphones from Shokz. Shokz has been in the running headphones game for a few years now, and in that time it’s had one goal: to build open-ear headphones you can run, cycle, and work out with, all without entirely blocking out the world around you. Also, one of the benefits of using these is that those with hearing issues may benefit from bone conduction headphones since they don't rely solely on the eardrum.
It also comes with an IP67 rating, meaning you can sweat without worrying.
Talking about the contents of the box, we have...
Once we open it, we have these headphones, along with a warranty card, followed by a box within which we have a pouch, and inside that is the user guide and a charger with a custom pin.
Let's take a look at these headphones that are giving me a premium quality feel, and on the unit we have the ON/OFF Switch along with the Volume Controller and the charging point to connect the charger.
Wearing them is just as easy; just place them over the ear, and you do not have to do a lot of complex things to wear them. You are good to go in a minute. I have not been able to test the battery to the max, but these are some quick thoughts about the headphones.
First of all, these are not for everyone, but basically everyone should use them over in-ear headphones because these are good for the long run. If you have to answer calls every day, then this is something that's good enough to be able to be a part of the call while also listening to other stuff in the environment. If you are running, jogging, or even driving, I think this is a better option because you can also hear if someone is calling you in the background or honking at you while the whole noise is cut out with the noise cancellation headphones.
Everything comes to your needs, and this is a very good product when it comes to bone conduction, though in regards to call quality and music quality, everything was good, though others in the room can listen to your music if it's playing in full volume. The only thing missing is the base, which obviously wouldn't be possible with this design, and that's the problem if you are too much into quality music listening.
These are selling on Amazon for around 13K, and if you are looking for a quality option, then you can consider this or the Pro variant if you can spend up to 18K.
