Welcome back to Icecream Apps YouTube channel! It often happens that you record a cool video but you feel like you need to cut some parts of it, say, in the beginning where nothing happens and you only hear 'are you recording?' in the background? Or when the camera is trembling at the end of the video and you most likely don't really need this part, too. If you recorded content and you need to trim it fast with no additional apps' installation, this tutorial is for you! Video Candy is a free online video editor that would help you effortlessly trim video online. Here's how you do that!

You head over to videocandy.com website in your browser.

Select the 'Trim video' tool with scissors icon and click it to proceed.

And upload content from your device. Click the “Add file” button or drag and drop video.

Then you need to choose a segment to extract or to remove. You can do that manually on the timeline at the bottom, or using the input fields on the right.
To extract a segment of the file, tick the corresponding option on the right. This would enable you to choose the part from, say, the middle of your video, and cut out the beginning and the end of it. You can either type in the timing in the 'Cut timing' field or manually move the green frame on the video timeline to see what exact part of your file would be extracted.
Another way of trimming your video is removing a part from it. To choose such a segment, you proceed absolutely the same way as you do with extraction but the part that you've chosen would be removed from the original file.
If you feel the sound breaks and the media content doesn't look like a finished piece after the edits were applied, you can add Fade to Black visual effect and Fade in/out for the sound. This would make your video look more authentic and smooth.
Check the video before cutting in the media player.
