In 2005, a great sci-fi movie named, "The Island" was released to theaters. Starring Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson, the movie revolved around the issue of cloning humans, and was a big hit. It was scored by Steve Jablonsky, It main theme was called "My Name is Lincoln", and was a powerful celebratory piece for full orchestra. It is near the top of my most favorite scores.
This adaptation of the score has been significantly revised in 2023 to contain ten instruments that closely match the original and create a potent, powerful and rich sound capturing the drama and beauty of this wonderfully uplifting song. I hope you will agree.
Other than the grand piano, which is from a custom soundfont, all instruments are from the MuseScore default soundfont and have been very carefully toned and adjusted for volume to form a blended whole. If you download the score, please adjust the piano to MuseScore default using the Mixer menu.
