The first mention of this object appears on the plans of the city of Terijoki (Zelenogorsk) in 1902. On it, the owner of plot number 128 was a certain Zaets (Sajets). Between 1902 and 1907 the house passes to the three von Koch brothers. It is known that the son of one of the brothers, Konstantin, remained in Finland after the revolution and sold the family house in 1924. Its new owner was Ernst-Otto Åkesson, the district judge of Terijoki.
Ernst-Otto Åkesson (1872 Vyborg—1939 Helsinki) - the most famous Finnish lawyer, lawyer, judge, Minister of Justice of Finland. After 1923, his career collapsed, he was expelled from the capital and appointed judge of the border region of Terijoki-Rajajoki, where he served in 1924-1932. Lived in the former villa of Zaets. A confirmed bachelor. Immediately after arriving in Terijoki, he began to take an active part in public life. He was a founding member of the Beach Resort and Casino. Apparently, he could have visited Terijoki in pre-revolutionary times; his cousin, Anna-Helfriede Åkesson, stayed here (or lived in the country) in the 1898-1900s. In 1936-1939, in the last years of his life, he served as a lawyer in Helsinki, and rented out his dacha.
At the end of the 1930s. Åkesson's dacha was not used entirely for peaceful purposes - the Terijoki listening station was located in the rented premises." In general, there was Finnish radio intelligence here.
In 1944, the Karelian Isthmus finally passed to the Soviet Union, as Finland emerged from the war, recognizing the lands seized by our country as part of the USSR. After 1945, the building of the dacha housed the main building of the Bolshevik holiday home. In the 1990s, the dacha belonged to kindergarten number 120 in the Frunzensky district of St. Petersburg
A beautiful wooden dacha with a unique history, it survived the revolution and the Winter War and the Great Patriotic War and even went through the 90s, but since the early 2000s it has been destroyed, despite the fact that it is included in some preserved lists.
The first owner of the dacha on the shore of the Gulf of Finland was a certain Zaets, but already in the 1920s it was bought by the former Minister of Justice of Finland, Ernst Take Åkesson.
Åkesson fell into disgrace more than once, he was removed from legal positions and even imprisoned in Kresty in Petrograd, but he returned to his native Finland and continued to successfully build his career. He rose to the rank of Minister of Justice of Finland (1922-1924), but...
According to the official version, he ordered the arrest of members of the Socialist Party, which he did not like and which he suspected of a political conspiracy and an impending coup. But either the case materials were stolen, or the arrested had a patron, or simply someone was against Åkesson himself, but the suspicions were ultimately not confirmed. He was removed from his post as a minister and sent into exile as a lawyer - to Terijoki (now Zelenogorsk). So the former minister settled in a beautiful dacha.
However, by 1936, Åkesson again earned the right to return to Helsinki and handed over the dacha to the military.
