The Nokia G22 launches with DIY features 📱🛠
Ready party like it's 2000? I know I am. Because Nokia is back with a brand new phone.
At this year's Mobile World Congress, Nokia manufacturer HMD Global announced the Nokia G22.
A phone that users can repair themselves if they have a cracked screen, dead battery or bad charging port.
After partnering with how to website, iFixit, the G22 now has its own repair portal so users can look up guides on how to fix a device from the e-commerce site.
But it does come with some sacrifices.
For starters, the G22 doesn't support 5G network connectivity or water resistance.
So if you're prone to getting your phone wet and like your 5G speed, this may not be the phone for you.
But it'll be interesting to see if more mainstream phone carriers decide to follow Nokia's lead.
