QC Ubiquiti EdgeMAX - Speed Testing Bandwidth with the Bandwidth Tool
This video focuses on using the build-in GUI bandwidth testing tool. This tool can be used to test the bandwidth capabilities of a link. In the background this tool relies on using iPerf3 and requires an iPerf3 capable device on the other end. One side will be the sender (client) and the other will be the server (receiver). The EdgeRouter is capable of acting as both the sender and the receiver, however output is only generated when acting as the sender. Take note that the EdgeRouter (and all routers in general) are better at forwarding data then they are at generating it. For this reason the bandwidth results may be less than the actual capabilities of the device
