Death Stranding All Memory Chip Locations (Collectibles) - Fount of Knowledge Trophy Guide
There are 56 Memory Chip Locations (Collectibles) in Death Stranding. Finding all Memory Chips unlocks Fount of Knowledge trophy & A Thirst for Knowledge trophy.

None of the Memory Chips are missable! You can find all of them after the story in free-roam. You can see which collectibles have been found and which are missing by pressing Options-Button -- Left -- Data -- Memory Chips. If you found it, it will have a key icon on it. You still need to decrypt the chips by bringing them to a terminal! Only after decrypting them at a terminal the trophy will unlock!
IMPORTANT:
- Finish the story first (may affect some collectible spawns)
- Level up all facilities to level 5 (5 stars). Some chips only spawn after leveling up certain facilities and reading their emails (sleeping in private quarter after leveling facilities gives you new emails). Those are the emails that refer to "shiny objects". The relevant facilities are pointed out in the video (or refer to text guide linked below).
- If a collectible is not there, it's because you didn't read the email for it.
