I've just been to France for a few days, and while I was there I had a trip to a bookshop and a library. I could have stayed in either all day, there were SO many inspiring picture books to look at! I've chosen ten to share with you, and I can guarantee you will be awestruck.
From a quirky story about insects enjoying a mushroom playground, to a tale from the point of view of magma; from an old lady and her elephant friend to a biography of Japanese artist Hokusai told by Mount Fuji, these are not like any picture books you have seen before.
Settle down with a cup of tea and get inspired! Do leave a comment if you enjoyed the video, I love hearing feedback.
Huge thanks to Bridget Marzo for introducing me to the French library system!
