The EASIEST way to connect your PS4 controller to your PS4
In this video, I’m going to show you how to connect your PS4 controller to your PS4 in 2 easy methods.
First, if you have a controller already connected to your PS4, then on the new controller you’re wanting to pair, hold down the share and PS button for several seconds until the top light on the controller begins blinking.
Then on your PS4, go into your settings, click on Devices, and then click into Bluetooth Settings. In your Bluetooth, settings, your DualShock 4 controller should show up after a few seconds. Click on the new controller and then click yes to register the device to your PS4. It’ll sync the PS4 controller to that PlayStation.
If you’re connecting a controller for the first time, the easiest method is to use a micro USB cable. Plug in the cable into the PS4 and then into your controller. Push the PS button on your controller and then it’ll automatically sync to your PS4. You can then unplug the controller and use wirelessly via Bluetooth.
